PURPOSE:To generate an output pulse by eliminating a continuous wave stably by detecting the mixture level of the continuous wave and then providing negative feedback continuously so that the level is minimized when an input signal is processed by using a continuous wave band and outputted. CONSTITUTION:A composite video signal from an input terminal 11 is inputted to a switching circuit 12, and a burst signal and a signal in a color information period are outputted by a gate pulse from an input terminal 18 and inputted to comb-shaped filter part 13. This filter part 13 is applied with a continuous wave from a continuous-wave generating circuit 17 to subtract a signal delayed by one horizontal period and an undelayed signal from each other, thereby outputting a chrominance signal with frequency interleaving relation to an output terminal 14. Then, an amplitude and phase detecting circuit 15 detects the mixture level of the continuous wave from the ouput of the terminal 14 and an amplitude and phase adjusting circuit 16 makes adjustment so that the level is minimized, thereby feeding back the information to the filter 13 negatively and continuously in an unnecessary period. Thus, the continuous wave is eliminated stably.
