Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a system which detects the video break phenomenon of an ITV system by eliminating the need for a special detection transmission line while eliminating the need to fit a detector to every TV camera by connecting a video detector between the monitor TV of a video transmission line and a monitor TV. CONSTITUTION:A video break detector 27 which detects the video break phenomenon of an ITV system is connected between a monitor TV24 and a video signal transmission line 23 to which TV cameras 21 are connected through a video switch 22. This switch 22 is connected to a switching operation device 26 through a video switching signal line 25, and this operation device 26 is connected to a video break signal holder 28. This holder 28 holds the output of the video break detector 27 and the output of the holder 28 is displayed on a detection signal display part 29. Thus, the need to fit the detector 27 to every TV camera 21 is eliminated and a special detection signal transmission line is made unnecessary, thereby simplifying the constitution of the system.
