Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent stripes produced on screen, by making switching control for the rotating frequency of a rotating magnetic head so that luminance and chroma signals are in the relation of frequency interleave, through the use of a frequency by PAL system as chrominance carrier wave by means of a servo circuit. CONSTITUTION:A TV signal information by the NTSC system is recorded on a magnetic tape 11 and the information from the head 11 is reproduced with a rotating magnetic head 12, which is driven with the output of a servo-circuit 14. This circuit 14 makes switching control for the rotating frequency of the magnetic head 12 depending on the PAL or NTSC system. The PAL system is discriminated at a discriminating circuit 16 in which a horizontal synchronizing pulse H from a video signal processing circuit 13 is counted with a vertical synchronizing pulse V, a control voltage from a manual operating section 15 is switched with the output of the circuit 16 to control the magnetic head 12 so that the rotating frequency has the relation of frequency interleave for the luminance and chroma signals, allowing to prevent the production of stripes.
