Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply a suitable amount of silicone oil to a roller, by providing a supply roller between a storage and a print roller, and rotating this supply roller intermittently unidirectionally with a specified angle via a unidirectional clutch. CONSTITUTION:The peeling effect of a roller to copy paper can sufficiently be obatained only with silicone rubber 11, but in use of a long period, the effect becomes insufficient and copy paper winds around a silicone rubber roller 7. Inversely, if too much silicones oil is supplied to the roller 7, stored oil may give dirt on copy. Thus, silicone oil 15 is stored in a silicones oil tank 14, and one end of supply member like a felt 16 another end of which is immersed in the oil 15 is in contact with a supply roller 17. The oil supply without excess or shortage can be made by intermittent rotation of the supply roller 17 with a pin 21 and a lever 19 provided on a sprocket 20 via a unidirectional clutch 18.
