Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease a driving power and to achieve a power transistor with high reliability, by making switching control of two transistors through the control winding of a saturated control transformer, while self-exciting oscillation. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 1SW is turned on, a 1TR is conductive and an emitter current flows to a current feedback winding 6. Thus, the emitter current is positively fed back via a base winding 4 magnetically coupled with the winding 6 to drive the base more strongly. Further, when the time integrating value of a voltage induced to the winding 4 reaches a given value, the magnetic flux in a saturable transformer CT is saturated and the conduction of a transistor 1TR stops. At this moment, the energy stored in the CT drives a 2TR this time. Thereafter, the self- oscillation is kept, the 1TR and 2TR are alternately in on-off operation, and the conductive state is held between input and output terminals 1, 2.
