Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the parking release state from being changed to a parking state, even at engine stop during car running, by interlocking a parking piston mechanism operated with hydraulic pressure with a detent mechanism, output shaft locking mechanism and pressure switch. CONSTITUTION:When being set at a parking range, a parking piston 12 moves to the left end in Figure, which operates a parking rod 31 and a parking roll 32 via a detent lever 21 to lock the revolution of the output shaft and to stop the latch 23 of the lever 21 for return. In this case, a pressure switch 4 is turned off and an ignition switch 6 turns off for engine stop. When set to the mode other than the parking range, the piston 12 moves right end in Figure, the rotary lock of the output shaft is released and the latch 23 prevents return. A switch 4 is turned on. The switch 4 is coupled with a switch 6 by an OR circuit, allowing to prevent engine stop.
