Abstract
PURPOSE:To gradually raise the rotating speed of a motor by a method wherein a transistor is connected to a speed setting resistor in parallel and the transistor is gradually interrupted at the time of starting the motor. CONSTITUTION:With a manual selective knob operated, a selector 30 is selectively connected to either one of the taps Ta-Tc to select resistor elements 7-9 in a signal level setting circuit B. At the same time, an interlocking device 36 is selectively connected to taps Ta-Tc as well. Next, with a starting switch 31 closed, a transfer switch 21 is transferred to the dotted line position. The electric charge in a capacitor 22 is fed into the base of a transistor 17 by the above procedure and the transistor 17 is turned ON. Therefore a very low-level trigger signal is fed into the gate of a thyristor 2. The trigger signal is gradually raised up to a previously set signal level with the progress of the discharge of the capacitor 22 and the rotating speed of a motor 1 will slowly rise.
