Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the monitoring operation of a control signal, by storing the number of transmitted pulses at each signal transmission in advance at the transmission side, counting and returning the number of pulses accompanied at each signal transfer at the reception side to the transmission side for the comparison with the count value reported from the reception side at the end of transfer. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting and receiving signals between opposing devices A and B, every time when a signal transmitted from the device A at the counter CNT of the device B of the reception side is transferred to a register SDR, the number of pulses accompanied with the signal is counted. The signal from the counter CNT is applied to an error check circuit ER-CHK as a code signal ACP-CD from a logical operation circuit LGC by a tag signal QWT. The number of transmission pre-stored in a main control circuit CT of the device A of the transmission side is compared with the code signal ACP-CD returned from the device B, and when coincidence, it is judged as normal operation, and when discidence, it is judged as error, to monitor control signal with a simple constitution.
