Abstract

PURPOSE:To conceal signals with a simple hardware, by forming the primary coupling while giving phase difference to both components of the signal and distrubing noise. CONSTITUTION:A specified frequency band only is picked up from an audio signal picked up at a microphone 10 with an amplifer 11 and a filter 12 and the signal is introduced to the 1st Hilbert converter 17 via a variable gain amplifier 13. On the other hand, the disturbing noise is picked up via a filter 16 for the binary series obtained from a virtual random series generating circuit 15 and introduced to the 2nd Hilbert converter 18. Phase lead-side outputs S(t), N(t) and lag-side outputs S(t), N(t) are obtained from the Hilbert converters 17, 18, and addition of L(t)=S(t)+N(t), and R(t)=S(t)+N(t) is made at two adders 19, 20 to obtain the two signals L(t), R(t). Both the signals are outputted to a stereo signal carrier such as a tape recorder.
