Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the distortion factor of an amplifier, etc. with a simple measuring system, by measuring an output voltage of a signal transmitting circit at the time of impression of two signal voltages of high and low, and then, by seeking the signal transmitting distortion factor from the input voltage and the output voltage. CONSTITUTION: An output voltage V01 of an amplifier, at the time of input of an input signal voltage Vi1 whose distortion is so small as to be negligible, is sought by a voltage measuring circuit Ll through a low-pass filter LPF. And then, an output voltage V02, at the time of impression of a large input signal voltage Vi2, is measured by the voltage measuring circuit Ll. At that time, a distortion occurs in the amplifier dividing the fundamental frequency component into a high harmonic component VH and a fundamental frequency component VL, and therefore, by seeking Y=1-(V02/Vi2)/(V01/Vi1), the distortion factor can be sought. It is possible, by doing so, to simplify the measuring system to such an extent as to eliminate necessity of measuring the high harmonic component.
