Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate erroneous ignition with simple circuit constitution which has less parts, by obtaining a signal which determines a control phase angle by comparing a sawtooth wave voltage, synchronizing with a power source, with a control signal. CONSTITUTION:A load voltage VL applied to a load 45 with its phase controlled is processed by full-wave rectification at a diode bridge DB1, and the result is applied to an effective-value detecting circuit 41 to be converted into a DC voltage VL'' close to the effective value of the load voltage VL. Then, it is inputted to a differential amplifier 47 together with a reference voltage VREF for output setting to output an error voltage VER. After the full-wave rectification of a diode bridge DB2, electric power from an AC power source 46 is applied to a circuit 42 to generate a saw-tooth wave VT which synchronizes with the power source 46. This sawtooth wave VT and voltage VER are compared 43 and only when VT<=VER, a high-level signal Sc is outputted to turn on the light emitting diode of a photocoupler PS. Consequently, the semiconductor phase control element Q3 of a conduction energizing circuit 44 is turned on to apply the load 45 with a control voltage which is brought under constant phase control.
