Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a digital audible tone generating device which is adapted to control method corresponding to various symmetries without changing the circuit, by changing write data of a control data ROM. CONSTITUTION:An ROM7 for control data storage is provided newly, and control data corresponding to each symmetry is stored there, and contents of the ROM7 are decoded by a control circuit 8 to perform operations such as code inversion, UP/DOWN switching, count inhibition as required. Consequently, all digital audible tones different in frequency, symmetry, and the number of samples are generated without changing the circuit only by changing data recorded in the control data ROM7.
