When this locking is released, the head 3-1 is automatically reset to the stop position for the 1st tape recorder 1. This recorder 1 is set in parallel to the 2nd tape recorder 2. An interlocking member 42 interlocking the lock releasing action of the recorder 1 is provided to the recorder 2. The mode switching of the recorder 2 is carried out based on the operation of the member 42.
