Abstract
PURPOSE:To achieve high-density recording with superior resolution by scanning at least either one of a light emitting element array with large light emission surfaces and an imaging element array forth and back in parallel to a photosensitive surface. CONSTITUTION:Emitted luminou flux from an LED12 with large light emission area is reduced to (m) time (m=a/b) through an imaging lens 13 to form an image on a photosensitive surface 14. The extent (d) of the movement of the lens 13 is c/1+m, where (c) is the pitch of the LED12.
