Abstract
PURPOSE:To rationalize the exchange of a leaf spring made of FRP and having interposed members such as silencer, by laying a conductive reinforced fiber in the abrasion limiting position of the superficial portion of each leaf spring made of a nonconductive material. CONSTITUTION:The superficial portion La of each piled up leaf spring L is made of a nonconductive material such as glass fiber G, and conductive reinforced fiber such as carbon fiber C is laid in the abrasion limiting position of the superficial portion La. Furthermore, an interposed member such as silencer 3 is connected electrically with the fiber C burried in the leaf spring 1, and the interposed member and the fiber C in the leaf spring, touching slidingly to the interposed member, constitute an electric switch circuit SW. When the under surface of the silencer 3 comes into contact with the fiber C in the neighboring leaf spring L by the progress of abrasion, the circuit SW is closed. Then, an electric current flows from a power source 5 through a path passing a lamp 4, a conduction wire 6, the fiber C laid in the upper superficial portion La of each leaf spring L, the silencer 3, the fiber C laid in the lower superficial portion La of each leaf spring L, a conduction wire 7 and the power source 5, and warning is given by lighting the lamp 4.
