On the other hand, an ink tank 108 is fixed on an ink tank retaining plate 124. The head mounting plate 110 and the ink tank retaining plate are fastened with a joint section 125 and supported solidly on a support base in such a manner as to be move. With the rotation of a motor 119, a driving screw 120 rotates to move a head unit backward and forward.
