Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the construction of a magnetic disc device by removably mounting a flange, which is equipped with a magnetic disc, to a shaft of rotation. CONSTITUTION:The taper portion of a flange 4, to which a magnetic recording disc 3 is fixed, is inserted into a shaft of rotation 5 so that the flange 4 and the shaft 5 are fastened by means of a fastening screw 8. Then, the shaft 5 and the flange 4 are removably attached through the screw 8. As a result, the assembly of the disc 3 into a sevo-data writing device by a moving member, which is equipped with a magnetic head 6, can be accomplished easily and reliably without use of an auxiliary base plate so that the construction of the magnetic disc device can be simplified.
