Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a uniform film in a short period of time by a method wherein a resin coating material is pneumatically fed into a pipe via an open end on one side of the pipe and is simultaneously discharged from the pipe by a suction pump provided on the side of the other open end of the pipe correspondingly to the amount of compressed air.
CONSTITUTION: An epoxy resin as a main ingredient and a hardening agent for the resin both being pneumatically fed from a lining machine are uniformly mixed with each other by a measuring mixer 5, the resultant mixture is mixed with compressed air in an accelerator 4, whereby it is accelerated and is fed into the pipe. The epoxy resin is conveyed through the pipe by the air flow while being deposited on the inside wall of the pipe in a desired thickness. At the instant the lining film moving through the pipe reaches the outlet side of the pipe, the supply of the resin and compressed air at the inlet side is stopped. After recovering the resin-air mixture remaining in the pipe, a vacuum pump 9 is stopped and the lining operation is completed.
