Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate the assembly process and also secure safety of operation upon such a condition as inhibiting the use of captioned device under imperfectly assembled status in the assembly of an impeller inserted in and engaged with the rotating shaft, by inserting an elastic body between the both parts.
CONSTITUTION: When a hand is removed from the fitting cylindrical portion 6 of the impeller 4 inserted around the rotary shaft 1 so that to release the inserting force from the impeller, the impeller 4 is pushed out of the rotary shaft 1, because the spring force A of the spring 11 in the fitting cylindrical portion 6 has been made larger than the frictional force B or the like between the rotary shaft and the ball 12, or between said shaft and the inner wall of the fitting cylinder 6. By this action, imperfectly inserted condition can be detected, to avoid the use under imperfectly assembled condition so that safety of operation may be secured. Then, the further inserting the impeller 4 into the rotary shaft 1, the ball body 12 fits in the joining groove 2 of the rotary shaft 1, and the engaging pin 3 engages with the fitting notch portion 7. When the hand is removed under this condition, the engagement force between ball 12 and joining groove 2 becomes greater by the spring force of the spring 11, and the impeller 4 can be easily attached to and held by the shaft 1.
