Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily remake a C-shaped spring by detecting a circumferential displacement of projections formed on input and output shafts, caused when the projections are secured by the C-shaped spring on the basis of variation in fluid pressure supplied to a control valve.
CONSTITUTION: An output shaft 2 of a power steering device is fixed to a fixed jig 35 of a detector and a shaft 38 of a reversible motor 37 is connected to an input shaft 1. The shaft of the reversible motor 37 is equipped with a torque sensor 42 which detects an input torque and an angle sensor 43 and an oil pressure sensor 44 is disposed in a pressure fluid line. Projections 10, 11 respectively formed on the input and output shafts are secured by a C-shaped spring. Circumferential displacement of the projections is derived by calculating a signal from aforementioned each sensor give when the reversible motor 37 is turned by means of a computer 39 and shown on displays 60, 61. The calculation result is sent to a NC machine 59 for instantly remaking the C-shaped spring.
