Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a guiding rod of objects under process bent in a curve and laid flexibly between two skew rolls from displacing in a direction of conveying the objects under process by arranging both skew roll units perpendicularly to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Two skew roll units A, B, which can convey cylindrical objects under process placed on a pair of rolls 4, 5 in a certain direction, are installed perpendicularly to conveying directions a, b of the objects under process. A guiding rod 6 of the objects under process is bent in a curve and laid flexibly between one unit A and the other unit B, and blast units are installed on the units A, B respectively. When the objects under process 1 are conveyed, the guiding rod 6 at the unit A side tends to move in the direction of conveyance a. However, the other end of the guiding rod 6 is laid between the skew rolls 4, 5 of the other unit B installed in a direction perpendicular to the unit A, and the movement of the axial direction of the guiding rod 6 receives resistance, resulting in reluctance of movement and no displacement.
