Abstract
PURPOSE:To cancel a pilot signal completely, by automatically matching the cancellation level of the pilot signal, through the feedback of the output signal of the cancellation circuit to a pilot signal synchronizing detection section. CONSTITUTION:An output of a cancellation circuit 14 is fed back to a pilot signal synchronizing detection section 10 to make phase detection by a in-phase signal from a pilot in-phase signal generating section 9, and the cancellation level of the pilot signal can be matched by using the DC component of the detected output. For example, if the output of a cancellation signal generating circuit 13 is deficient, since a pilot signal having the in-phase component with the cancellation signal is included in the feedback signal, or if too much, the pilot signal having the opposite component is included, this is detected as the plus or minus DC component, and the cancellation level is matched by automatically controlling the circuit 13 accordingly.
