Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve chemical resistance without deterioration in sensitivity, by a method wherein, in a heat sensitive recording paper containing a dye precurson and a developer, an overcoat layer of algin salt in a given thickness is formed on the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:An alginic acid salt aqueous solution is overcoated and dried on a heat sensitive recording paper in which a paint layer, consisting of a dye precurson, a developer, a pegment binder, a surface active agent, a lowering agent of a melting point, and a lubricant, is applied on a paper or a synthetic resin film base to form a dry film in the thickness of 2-12mum. Whichever of sodium salt, ammoium salt, and metal salt will suffice for a salt type of alginic acid salt, and a molecular weight also is effective irrespective of the size.
