Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a flexible combination of the optical system and a sensor by inserting an optical fiber bundled in an array and an auxiliary optical system between an image forming surface of the optical system and a sensor for photoelectric convertion of the intensity of illumination in the radiation on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A light receiving surface 19 corresponding to a sensor contained in a light receiving surface 18 of a ribbon fiber 17 is so arranged on an image forming surface 3 of an optical system 2 that the lateral direction of the light receiving surface 19 is at the right angle to the direction of the camera advances. A new optical system 23 permits light emitting surfaces 22A and 22B corresponding to a sensor contained in individual light emitting surfaces 21 of the ribbon fiber 17 to form images these new objects, namely an image of the light emitting surface 22A corresponding to a sensor on the right in the drawing on a photoelectric conversion unit 26 of a sensor 24 on the left and an image of the light emitting surface 22B corresponding to a sensor on the left on a photoelectric conversion unit 27 of a sensor 25 on the right.
