Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a telephoto lens having accurate focusing and about 0.7 telephoto ratio by satisfying lenses which can be focused by moving the back lens group with a prescribed condition in a system consisting of the front and back lens groups. CONSTITUTION:A lens system is constituted by the front lens group F composed of positive, positive and negative single lenses arranged from an object side in sequence and having positive refractive index and the back lens group R composed of a negative lens whose image side is concave and a positive lens whose image side is convex and having negative refractive index, and can be focused by changing the space between the whole lens system and focusing surface and moving the back lens group in the optic axis direction. When (f) is the focal length of the whole system at focusing the light from an infinite object on the system, fF is the focal distance of the front lens group F, r1 and r3 are the radiuses of curvature of the 1st and 3rd lenses in the object side, fR is the focal length of the back rens group R, fN is the focal length of the negative lens part of the back lens group R, rN and rP are the radiuses of curvature of the image side's surface of the negative and positive lenses of the back lens group R, each condition of formulas (1)-(2) is satisfied.
