Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform a high-precise printing by microadjusting an inclining angle of a head, and to improve a printing quality, by a method wherein a head attaching angle converting means is mounted to change the inclining angle of the ink jet head having two nozzle rows. CONSTITUTION:A regulating screw 20 is attached to a head retainer (or carriage) 18, and the end of the screw 20 is caused to protrude above a head-supporting surface 21 of the retainer 18 to adjust an inclining angle of a head 30 with the protruding distance of the screw. The head 30 so positioned can not be inclined to the left, and thereby the supporting surface 21 of the retainer 18 is slightly tilted to the left beforehand to allow the head 30 to be adjusted to a vertical position by means of the screw 20. For example, the inclination of the head 30 is microadjusted by the screw 20 as a test pattern is printed and the screw 20 is secured with paint and an adhesive agent to a most suitable spot. EFFECT:Even when the head is detached, reproduction of the product is enabled.
