PURPOSE:To achieve direction finding with a simple constitution, without accuracies of AGC and voltage drifting, by receiving a linear FM signal radiated from a target with two sets of antennas, and determining the direction information based on the frequency difference between a converted intermediate frequency signals. CONSTITUTION:When a linear FM signal radiated from a target 1 is received at two sets of antennas 2, 3, since a distance between the antennas 2 and 3 and the target 1 is different, a frequency signal of a converted intermediate frequency signal corresponding to the reception wave at receivers 6 and 7 is different each other. The frequency difference of the intermediate frequency signals corresponding to the direction information of the target 1 is detected at a mixer 9, the difference processing without effect of accuracy such as AGC and voltage drift is made, to achieve direction finding for the frequency region with a simple constitution such as an analog/digital filter and a spectrum analyzer and the like.
