Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the adhesion, the flame retardance, the corrosion resistance, etc. of the titled coating mateial, by dissolving a chlorinated polyolefin resin in an oxygen-contg. solvent or an arom. chlorine-contg. solvent.
CONSTITUTION: A chlorinated polyolefin resin having a chlorine content of pref. 60wt% or lower is dissolved in at least one solvent selected from oxygen-contg. solvents and arom. chlorine-contg. solvents. Since the resin in the obtained coating material is completely dissolved in the solvent, the resin does not settle or separate during storage. This coating material can be smoothly coated or printed on a material to be coated such as a plastics which can be difficultly bonded, and firmly bonded to the material. Thus, this coating material can give a coating film, a bonding layer, a printed film, etc. having excellent flame retardance, corrosion resistance.
