CONSTITUTION:A toner superior in fluidity, resolution, sharpness, transfer efficiency, recycling characteristics, and low in fog can be obtained by preparing using a suspension polymerization method an electrostatic image developing toner having a spherical form, and a longer diameter (a) to a shorter diameter (b) ratio a/b in the following relationship: 1.00<=a/b<=1.05, and 1-30mum particle diameter, and containing >=70wt% particles within the main particle diameter + or -3mum.
