Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently perform particularly conveyance of a large-sized circular object in such a way that a conveyor equipped with a push-up mechanism is installed under the circular object, such as steel pipe or another, in other words in the space on the lower side between the adjacent span of a skid, and the circular object is turned on the skid by means of actuation of the push-up mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: Groove-shaped rails 4 are laid on the floor along multiple flutes of skid rails, and a conveyor 2 is installed to be guided by wheels 3 on the rails 4. The conveyor 2 is coupled to a chain conveyor 1 to be moved forward and rearward by means of a proper driving source. The chain conveyor 1 is driven in he direction of the forefront of a steel pipe 16A, and when conveyed object detector 15 comes to right below the steel pipe 16A, it is stopped. And, with a motor 6 immediately driven, a shaft 8 of a jack 5 is sent up, at the same time, an elevating rod 10 and a roll 3 are set up, and the steel pipe 16A is turned. In this event, the steel pipe 16A can be turned until it goes far in such a way that thrust-off force is worked by means of a spring 11 at the separating time of the rise from the turning speed.
