Abstract
PURPOSE: To similarly manufacture a woodlike decorative plate in which tubular slots similar to noble wood to be obtained are scattered with high stereoscopic feeling and which is similar to a natural wood by controlling the coating and polishing of the plate with a sealer.
CONSTITUTION: A sealer 3 colored in a wood skin color is coated and dried on a natrual wood sole plate 2 bonded as a surface material of a planar base material 1. Then, the plate 2 is polished to the degree of slightly grinding the plate, thereby similarly producing tubular slots 4 in number and size to those of a noble wood. Then, a spring wood pattern 5 is printed on the plate by a gravure offset printing machine. A translucent sealer 6 colored with wood skin color of the noble wood is coated on the plate, which is then polished. Further, summer wood pattern 7 corresponding to the spring wood pattern is printed on the plate, and finish paint is coated over the entire surface of the plate.
