Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain title glass plate having a pattern with depth effect and being useful as indoor and outdoor decoration material, by coating the pattern side of a figured glass having concavities and convexities with a color paint to form an undercoat, removing the undercoat placed on the convexities and coating the pattern side thus obtained with a different color paint.
CONSTITUTION: The decorated glass is produced by coating with a color paint the pattern 3 of the figured glass 1 having flat side 2 and pattern side 3 having concavities and convexities, drying the paint to form an undercoat 4, removing the undercoat placed on the convexities 5 of the pattern side by cutting off with a knife or by abrading off with sandpapers, grinder, disk-sander, polisher or the like, coating the pattern side thus obtained with a color paint of different color with a spray- gun, and drying and baking the paint to form a colored topcoat 6.
