Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a guide mechanism which enables accurate recording and reproduction, by providing a tape guide to a pinch roller lever instead of forming the tape guide and a magnetic head case in one body. CONSTITUTION:A tape guide mechanism 10 is equipped with the 1st tape guides 14 and 15 provided on a head lever 12, and the 2nd tape guides 18 and 19 provided on a pinch roller lever 16. The pinch roller lever 16 has a pinch roller 24, and is positional over the head lever 12 and fitted rotatably on a base plate 22 by an upright post 26. The head lever 12 has magnetic heads 28 and 29 at the nearly intermediate parts of the sides of a rotary pin 20 as the center of rotation, and the 1st tape guides 14 and 15 are provided to the end parts of the respective sides.
