Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable flash photographing which takes stationary light into consideration to be performed automatically by controlling and displaying the quantity of emission of flash.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an output circuit which outputs the signal corresponding to the quantity of emission of a flash emitting device ST, devices SE0, SE2, SE4, SE6, SE8 which measure exposure control values, a circuit LM0 which measures stationary light, an arithmetic circuit AL which calculates the difference in the number of steps of an APEX system that brightens the subject by the emission of the device ST based on the signals from the output circuit 2, each setting device SE and the photometric circuit LM0, and devices CA, CS which control the quantity of the light emitted by the ST based on the signal from the output circuit 2. As a result, a photographer is able to make photographing by knowing the quantity of the brigtness that exceeds stationary light.
