Abstract

PURPOSE: To conduct properly baking by simply judging the degree of baking, by a method wherein the surface of an insulated wire is irradiated with rays, the amount of the reflected light is converted to an electric signal, and the value of the electric signal is utilized when an insulating paint is coated on the outer periphery of a conductor and baked.
CONSTITUTION: When an insulating paint is coated on the outer periphery of a conductor and baked, the following process is conducted as a judging method of the degree of baking. The surface of the insulated wire 1 is irradiated with rays from a light source 3. The reflected light rays are introduced into a photoelectric converter 4 where the reflected light rays are converted into an electric signal. The electric signal is amplified by an amplifier 5 and indicated as voltage on a displaying apparatus 6. The tint of the insulator film of the insulated wire 1 is approaching more and more black color with increase in the degree of baking and absobs light much easier. On the contrary, the lower the degree of baking becomes, the easier the rays are reflected. The voltage indicating on the displaying apparatus 6 becomes lower with increase in the degree of baking. The lower the degree of baking is, the greater the voltage changes. Thus, it can be judged by the voltae whether the degree of baking is within the required range.
