Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of a power plant using liquefied gas as fuel and to prevent heat pollution by waste water discharged from a condenser, by combining a liquefied-gas vaporizing system and a condenser cooling water system to each other.
CONSTITUTION: Liquefied-gas vaporizing water exchanges heat with liquefied gas in a fuel vaporizer 3 and is carried via a check valve 12 to a condenser 7 by means of a liquefied-gas vaporizing water circulating pump 11. The water exchanges heat with the exhaust gas of a turbine 5 in the condenser 7 and then is carried to the fuel vaporizer 3 via a vaporized circulating water branching valve 16. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to reduce the capacity of a cooling-water pump 13 in a condenser cooling water system considerably and to simplify the construction of the entire system.
