Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to effectivelly absorb the play made when the handle of a door window regulator or the like is operated, by elastically bending and expanding a portion of a coiled wire in order to form a gap where said wire and a spur gear for driving are meshed with each other.
CONSTITUTION: A portion of a coiled wire 16 is elastically bent and expanded to form a gap 26 between adjacent materials 160 and 162, and at the gap 26 a spur gear 11 for driving is meshed with the wire 16. By way of example where this is applied to a door window regulator; when a handle 3 is turned in order to move a window glass 7 up and down, the spur gear 11 operatably connected to the handle 3 rotates and consequently the wire 16 meshed with said spur gear 11 axially moves causing the window glass 7 to which said wire 16 has been secured to move up and down along the locus regulated by the lower each 1c of a door sash 1b. Thereby, there are fewer plays in the meshing between the gear 11 and the wire 16.
