Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture a puncture-proof tire, by filling a pneumatic tire with rubber.
CONSTITUTION: Beads of a tire 1 are fixed by a pressure wheel 8, so that its side wall can be inflated by 8W18%. A cylinder chamber 12 of a hydraulic ram cylinder 11 is filled with mixed compound of unvalcanized rubber 10, so that the mixed compound 10 is injected through a rubber injection path 9 into the pneumatic tire 1, as the ram cylinder 11 is put in action, up to a pressure level of 4W8kg/cm3 and the side wall is inflated by about 8W18%. The unvalcanized rubber filled in is then valcanized, as it is being built with the pressure wheel 8, in a valcanizing pan. The pressure wheel 8 is replaced with a wheel which is designed for a universal pneumatic tire.
