Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a composite body limited in resistance value change with an even adhesivity easily and at a low cost by interlaying an intermediate layer of a conductive rubber containing a silane coupling agent between a metallic member and a conductive rubber layer in lamination.
CONSTITUTION: A intermediate layer of a conductive rubber containing a silan coupling agent or an organic silaneperoxide is interlaid between a metallic member A such as metal electrode and a conductive rubber layer B and pressure is applied on the three layers to produce a composite body in three layers A/C/B. The specified rubber layer C is used to laminate the three layers so evenly and entirely to eliminate the formation of a cell as possible cause of metal corrosion between the metallic member A and conductive particles in the conductive rubber B thereby invariably keeping the resistance value at constant value. Besides, there is no direct contact of a silanecontaining layer C with the die ensuring a good moldability. The material is suitable for a conductive rubber roll for copying machines, a low frequency pulse oscillating electrode for medical treatment and the like.
