Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain high light energy density by passing the convergent light from curved face reflectors to a horizontal reflector on a base plate, reflecting the light reflected from the horizontal base plates again at the root end parts of the curved face reflectors and again converging the converged light while repeating its reflection.
CONSTITUTION: Multiple curved face reflectors 3 are disposed on the plane intersecting obliquely with a horizontal reflector 2, by maintaining their root end eges at fixed intervals. Convergent light is passed to the horizontal reflector 2 through the gaps formed between the respective root end edges and the adjacent curved face reflectors 3, and the light reflected from this horizontal reflector 2 is again reflected to the reflector 2 side at the root end parts 4 including the base end edges. According to the monentarily changing solar light incident angles, the reflectors 3 are oscillated. Therefore, the solar light is confined and converged into the wedgelike spaces delineated by the oblique planes and the reflector 2 and the light energy of high density is irradiated to the outlet surface thereof. Hence, if a photodetector 18 and a curvature reflector 17 are provided at the outlet surface, the photodetector 18 rises to high temp. by the light energy of high density and this is used as a water heater or a heat collecting machine.
