Abstract

PURPOSE: To burn the rice hull as fuel over a long period of time with a high efficiency by supplying the rice hull into the combustion part within a rotary combustion cylinder by means of the rotation of the cylinder and discharging the ashes through a rooster which can be adjusted in its opening degree corresponding to the burning conditions.
CONSTITUTION: When a motor 37 is started to drive the respective parts through a power transmission 38, the rice hull within a hopper 29 is scraped by a scraper 34 out of an outlet 30 into a rice hull supply cylinder 32, and transferred by a rotary lateral screw shaft 31 through the cylinder 32. Then the rice hull drops successively from an opening end 33 into a combustion cylinder 2 positioned around the rotary combustion cylinder 16. When the rice hull is accumulated to a certain extent, it is scraped by a scraper 18 to spread all over the periphery of the rotary combustion cylinder 16 while being fed into the cylinder 16 from an inlet 15. If an appropriate amount of rice hull is supplied into the cylinder 16, the rice hull supplying operation is stopped temporarily to ignite the rice hull within the cylinder 16 by an ignition bar inserted thereinto. After the ignition, the above-mentioned operation is restarted. The ashes produced by the combustion is dropped onto a chute 11 from the rooster 10.
