CONSTITUTION:Analogue signal input (a) is applied to laser diode (LD) driving circuit 1, and this LS driving circuit 1 drives LD2 to output a optical signal corresponding to analogue signal input (a). This output signal is received by photodiode 4 and is converted to an electric signal and is amplified by APC amplifier 3 and is fed back to LD driving circuit 1, thereby performing automatic phase control. Then, the output optical signal of LD2 has nonlinear distortion and mode noise eliminated by interference eliminator 5 using rod glass and is transmitted to optical fiber cord 6.
