Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a small-size and simple-operation mechanism for a disk cartridge, by pulling the flexible plane component in the reverse side to the inserting direction and relatively to the container and by an engagement between the hooking part and a recording/reproducing device and making the flexible plane component escape from the opening part. CONSTITUTION:The flexible plane component 18 which can close the open window 7 through which a magnetic head is inserted is provided at the front part of the container 11 containing the magnetic recording disk 12. When the container 11 is inserted into a recording/reproducing device, the window 7 is opened and closed by the mobile component 20 having the hooking part 19 exposed outside the container and to be hooked to the recording/reproducing device. Then the component 18 is pulled in the reverse direction 21 to the inserting direction when the container 11 is inserted to the recording reproducing device. Thus the component 18 is made to escape from the window 7.
