Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain the constant driving force of the motor with only one controlling circuit by a method wherein the variation of the current running to the stepping motor from the power source is detected and said current is controlled in such a manner that it is maintained constant by giving a detection signal. CONSTITUTION:When the speed of revolution increases, the driving current IO decreases and the voltage drop at both ends of a detecting resistor 6 is reduced. A controlling circuit 20 detects this voltage drop and increases the voltage between terminals 21 and 22. As a result, the driving current IO increases again, and the system is put in a balanced condition at the time when the driving current IO is returned to the original value. To be more precise, the controlling circuit 20 performs the function as a series regulator to obtain a constant-current characteristic by successively varying the current at the entrance to a stepping motor driving circuit 23.
