Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the circumferential Young's modulus of a core by laminating sector-shaped iron plates which are punched from an anisotropic silicon steel strip inclined in the rolling direction. CONSTITUTION:Sector-shaped iron plates 3 are punched from an anisotropic silicon steel strip 2 with the symmetrical axis B-B set at a certain angle in the rolling direction thereof. This enables the core to correspond to a higher Young's modulus in the circumferential direction thereof thereby reducing the vibration of the core while minimizing the iron loss increment.
