Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution by eliminating the need for a special monitoring device at a base station by monitoring at a remote point the high frequency parts of a base station transmitter receiver, the modulating circuit of the transmitter, the demodulating circuit of the receiver, and the connection of the wire between the radio base station and a controller. CONSTITUTION:Transmission control signal SC is supplied to control part 34 and also to transmitting oscillator 11 of a radio base station via transmission control line 5. In response to earth signal SC, oscillator 11 oscillaters and its oscillation signal, after passing through modulator 12 and multiplier 13, is amplified by a power amplifier. Transmission output detector 15 supplies the signal showing that the transmitter is normal when the amplification output of amplifier 14 reaches a constant value or the signal showing that the transmitter is abnormal when it is below the constant value to comparing circuit 28 as transmitter monitoring signal WTX. Comparing circuit 28 monitors transmitter monitoring signal WTX and receiver monitoring signal WRX and, when both the transmitter and receiver are normal, sends a constant earth signal via M line 6.
