Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain uniform matted moldings by polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer contg. a small amount of (meth)acrylic acid ester of polyol and using the resulting copolymer and a plasticizer as principal components.
CONSTITUTION: This vinyl chloride resin composition contains a 100pts.wt. copolymer and a ≤15pt.wt. plasticizer as principal components. The copolymer is prepared by polymerizing a vinyl chloride monomer contg. 0.005W0.5wt% acrylic acid ester or methacrylic acid ester of polyol. By molding this composition under ordinary working conditions, uniform matted rigid or semirigid vinyl chloride resin moldings can be obtd. without requiring a special matting means.
