Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to immediately select the best channel by providing a circuit which detects an ineffective signal unnecessary for an own station over a channel in reception, by switching a reception part over to another channel during this ineffective signal period, and by judging and storing the radio wave reception state. CONSTITUTION:Although reception in waiting mode is generally performed over a channel for incoming control, almost all call signals in received signals are for other stations and unnecessary for the station. Ineffective signal detector 6, when reading and detecting such unnecessary received data, sends the signal to controller 7. On receiving this signal, controller 7 changes the reception channel of reception part 2 over to a calling control channel via control line 9. Radio wave state discrimination part 5 discriminates the intensity of the received radio wave and sends the result to controller 7, which stores it and, when a calling request arrives, uses the said channel immediately.
