Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve measurement precision and the durability of an analyzer by refrigerating specimen gas at a temperature lower than an ambient temperature around an analytical mechanism by means of a dehumidifier/refrigerator, so that a moisture content of the specimen gas is completely removed and the dewing of moisture is prevented.
CONSTITUTION: A cooler 5, a dehumidifer/refrigerator 7, a gas/moisture separator 9, a filter 10 and a prearranged drainage are provided halfway in a specimen gas collection pipe 2. An analytical panel 3 is heated by means of a space heater 11. Under this constitution, a moisture content of the specimen gas is condensed and removed by the cooler 5 and the said gas is refrigerated below an ambient temperature by means of the dehumidifier/refrigerator 7, so that the remaining moisture is removed. Following this process, a condensate of granular form is separated by the separator 9 and then the gas is filtered 10 to be analyzed as prearranged. The analytical panel 3, kept warm by a heater, does not form dews. Thus it is possible to prevent dewing and improve measurement precision and the durability of equipment.
