CONSTITUTION:Main control unit MCU is equipped with a processor and terminal units TEU1-TEUn equipped with processors similarly are connected to key telephone sets MFT1-MFTn through voice circuits VL1-VLn and data circuits DL1- VL1-VLn and data circuits DL1-DLn. Then, extension connections between two out of telephones MFT1-MFTn are made via link circuits L1, L2-Lp. Here, if no response arrives from the party side of an extension call, the circuit is automatically released a certain time later. Consequently, none of link circuits L1-Lp is engaged for a long time improperly and the probability that calling is impossible due to engagement with regard to an extension call can be reduced.
